WHERElIS, it is desirable to bprove <Y'OIIIIIInUcatia1S between the City
Council and Chnmi_i.a1S and Calmitt.ees of the City of OJpertino,

Ca.mcil of the City of 0Jpertin0 to allow and enocurage various
Chnmi qia1S and Calmitt.ees to cx:n:iuc:t hearin;¡s to investigate and consider
bçortant PJblic i_lt_ within said C"rIInmi....iem and Calmittee pnview in
order to make ~,¥-iate ree:. ,,,·-..œtia1S to the City Ca.mcil and
therefore, said ChmIiqia1S and Calmitt.ees are free to set PJblic hearin;¡s
on any issue within their jurisdictiem or pnview provided that the
Chnmi ....iem or Calmittee meets the requirements as set forth in this
resolutiem,
If a Chnmi qiem or Calmittee detemines to hold a PJblic hearin:¡
inc:l~ General Plan AmBIm...Jl. hearin;¡s em a matter which will have a

limited to publicaticl1 ccsts or statf time, or if said PJblic hearin:¡

Camnittee shall notify the City Ca.mcil in writin:¡ at least twenty-eight
