WHEREAS, at its hJdget hearin;¡' in JUne, 1990, the City Council
approved in concept a hJdget plan for the Cable Television Adviso:ty
Committee; and
WHEREAS, this plan provides suax>rt for all nnmml11Uty access channels
as outlined in Ordinance 1233, section 2.74.060; B.1;
NCM, ~U1(t;, BE IT RESOLVED that the needs of public access,
goveulll.....t and educational PJ::OÇ:LC2IIIIIIin;J will be addressed by dividin;¡'
available fI.In:1s into four sections, with each receivin;¡' a straight
percentage as follows:

17.5 percent

with the reserve account consistin;J of no less than 25 percent of all
available revenue with 30 percent bein;J the ideal ëIIInD1t and that this
~ be derived fran 3% of united Cable's franchise fee and 2% of
Heritage Cablevision's franchise fee (beginnin;J october, 1990) and that
the Cable TV Advisory Camnittee will continue in its role and duties as
described in Ordinances 1090 and 1233 and will not, as a result of this
resolution, assume arr¡ additional duties without the ~ of the City
Council.
