CC Resolution No. 8231 RESOWl'IOO' NO. 8231 A RESOIIJTIOO' OF THE CI'lY CXXJNCIL OF '!HE CI'lY OF aJPERl'INO RE'3CmDmG RESOWl'IOO' NO. 8187 AND æJVIDmG FOR 'lURF AND MAINl'mANCE OF aJPERl'INO UNIOO' SalOOL DISTRIcr YOO!H SroRl'S FIEU:S WHEREAS, it is the JI1Iltual desire of the city of 0Jpertin0 arrl the CUpertino union School District to preserve for future generations the availability of open space representin;J approximately forty acres of existirq school fields; arrl WHEREAS, there is a need to iJIprove the overall quality arrl usability of the existin;¡ sports facilities by makin:J certain iIrprovenv:mts; arrl WHEREAS, it is the intent to enhance the maintenar¥:e levels of these facilities arrl to prarote continued CXJOperation between the CUpertino union School District arrl the City of CUpertino. NCM, 'lHEREFORE, BE rr RESOLVED that the city Cc:JIJOOil of the City of CUpertino does ordain as follows: 1. '!hat Resolution NQ. 8187 is hereby rescimed. 2. '!he:furÅ’ for the Youth Sports ReserVe F\u'd shall be derived solely fran future Park Dedication Fees when those fees are reimbursed to the General F\u'd. 3. Frean said fuI¥i, am:J\.II'\tS will, fran tine to tiJæ, be awropriated by the City Cc:JIJOOil for the purpose of reoovation an:} expansion of the Youth Sports facilities on various CUpertino union School District school sites as further delineated by a master plan prepared jointly by the City of CUpertino an:} the School District arrl in confonnance with the City's Five Year capital I:Irprovæents plan. '!he requirements of said fuI¥i are estbnated to be awroximately $5 million. F'l1n:1s could also be used for upgradi.nJ fields awned by the Frem:>nt union High School District in the event an agreement is reached between the City of CUpertino arrl, the School District at a future date. 4. '!hat the youth Sports ReserVe F\u'd be established :iJmnediatelY with an initial sum of $1.1 million fran the General F\u'd representirq Park Dedication F'l1n:1s previously reimbursed to the General F\u'd.
