A RESOIIJTION OF '!HE CITY <XXJNCIL OF THE CITY OF aJPERl'INO
AOOPl'mG A VISION STATEMENl' ON THE ARl'S m SANTA CIA:RA <XXJNTY
WHEREAS, the CUpertino Fine Arts Camnission has adopted a vision
statement which was develq>ed by representatives of the five cities arrl
various arts organizations in Santa Clara COImty; arrl
WHEREAS, this statement will be brought before goverment agencies
county-wide so that elected officials will have an opportunity to lend
their support of the arts in a 1.1I1Ífied effort,
NCM, 'IHEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the city of CUpertino hereby
adopts the follawin;J vision statement:
''We canmri.t ourselves to a Santa Clara Valley where the arts freely express
our innovative spirit, celebrate our rich cultural diversity, arrl inspire
iIdividual arrl c:amrm.mity participation.
