OF THE SANI'A CU\RA CXXJNlY HAZAROOUS WASTE MAN1!GEMENl' PUIN
WHmFAS, the Camty of santa Clara prepared and adcpt:ed a Hazardous
waste Management Plan which was subsequently en:iorsed by the City of
CUpertino; and
WHmFAS, the Plan included an Inplementation Program to provide
educational and technical services to the PJblic and industry; and
WHmFAS, the CXJSt of the Inplementation P1.~CWl is $410,000, with
$205,000 paid by industry and the ranaimer distribJted aJIIJI'K1 the Camty
and cities based en a fee and a perœntage of the waste stream; and
WHmFAS, CUpertino's share of the CXJSt is $8,320 based on a fee of
$6,500 and a perœntage share of $1,820; and
WHmFAS, the City of CUpertino will benefit fran participation in the
Camty Inplementatien Pl.~CWl by the reductien or eliminatien of local
progra¡œ to provide these services;
