CC Resolution No. 8355 RESOIlJI'ION NO. 8355 A RESOIlJI'ION OF THE Cl'I'Y CXXJNCIL OF THE Cl'I'Y OF aJPERl'INO RESCINDlliG Sam:xJIE F OF RESOIlJI'ION NO. 7454 AND FSrABLISHING RECREATION PROGRAM USER FEES WHEREAS, the state of California requires fees charged for service reIñered not to exceed the cost of delivering said services; and WHEREAS, a public hearing has been held to review recreation program user fees; and WHEREAS, the city Council of the city of CUpertino has estabished guidelines for setting user fees; New, 'IHEREFORE, BE rr RESOLVED that Schedule F of Resolution No. 7454 is hereby rescin:ied and that recreation pI.U: .Ldlu user fees are established per Exhibit A attached hereto. Determine the maximum hourly rate paid to instructor. 2. M.lltiply the instructor's hourly rate by the rn.nnber of class meetings. 3. DeteDnine the minimum rn.nnber of participants and divide into the instructor cost. 4. Add indirect oveIhead percent. 5. Add 20% to establish non-resident fee. 6. Add cost for specialized equipment or supplies. SPeCial Con:litions: requirements am the the registration fee. EXaJRSIONS 1. Transportation cost divided by the rn.nnber of participants plus overhead transfer. 2. Add 20% to establish non-resident fee. 3. Add arr;¡ admission cost, SUWlies or leadership cost. If participation does not meet minimum enrollment class continues, the instructor may receive 80% of 1\dclitional factors that mav be used to detennine the class or excursion user fee: '!he total rn.nnber of participants in a given activity may generate additional revenue whereby the total program cost may be rEdICed. Classes that traditionally have waiting lists may have the user fee increased.
