OF IMPERIAL AVENUE BE'lWEEN OLIVE AVENUE AND AICAZAR AVENUE;
APPROXIMATELY .16 ACRE, F'RA'mRCAlG!:LI (APN 357-19-054)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of CUpertino has received a
request for armexation of territory designated "Inperial Avenue 91-1" fran
property owner, AIreriex> Fratarcangeli; and
WHEREAS, the property , 0.16± acre on the east side of Inperial Avenue
between Olive Avenue and Alcazar Avenue (APN 357-19-054) is contiguous to
the City of CUpertino am is within its url:Jan service area: and
WHEREAS, annexation 1NOUld provide for use of City services; and
WHEREAS, this territory is UIÚlÙIabited and was prezoned on June 4,
1984 to City of CUpertino P(ML) zone; and
WHEREAS, City of CUpertino, as read Aqency for envirornœntal review
c:œpleted an initial study and granted a Negative Declaration for
annexation; and
WHEREAS, the County SUrITeyor of Santa Clara County has found the map
and description (Exhibits "A" and "B") to be in aCCDrdance with Government
Code Section 56826, the boundaries to be definite and certain, and the
proposal to be in mrp1iance with LAFCD's road annexation policies; and
WHEREAS, the fee set by the County of Santa Clara to cuver staff costs
for above certification has been paid; and
WHEREAS, as provided in Government Code Section 56826 the City Council
of the City of CUpertino shall be conducting authority for a
reorganization including an annexation to the City; and
WHEREAS, Government Code Section 56837 provides that if a petition for
armexation is signed by all owners of land within the affected territory
the City Council may awrove or disapprove the annexation without public
hearing;
RESOWTION NO. 8464
~, 'lHEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of
CUpertino hereby initiates aIUlexation proceedings and will amsider
annexation of the territo¡:y designated "Inperial Avenue 91-1" at their
regular meeting of August 19 I 1991.
