WHEREAS, the City COlll1cil as a p3I't of the cœprehensive General Plan
study, has reviewed the recarrnendations of the Planning Camrission
regarding amendments to the Land Use/Carrnunity Chazacter and Public Health
and Safety Elenents of the General Plan and has held public hearings
involving 1IEIl1Y citizens, and
WHEREAS, the City COlll1cil has =cluded its deliberations relative to
the General Plan Amendment.

1. That the City Council hereby adopts an amendment to the Land
Use/Carmunity Chazacter and Public Health and Safety Elenents of
the General Plan.
2. That the City Colll1cil hereby authorizes the Miyor to endorse said
adoption.

The land use map and function statement for the Old Monta Vista Planning
area is amended to allow mixed use Commercial and Residential land use
activities on Assessor's Parcel number 326-19-117. The residential land use
may be the primary activity, but a significant portion of the site shall be re-
tained in commercial use.
