WHERFAS, the Housin;J ani ComnIJnity Developnent 1Ict of 1974 provides
that funjs be made available for the ComnIJnity Deve10pnent Block Grant
program; ani
WHERFAS, the City of CUpertino wishes to apply for funjs un:1er the
Urban OJunty provisions of the 1Ict; ani
WHERFAS, the City of CUpertino un:Jerst:an: s that it shall receive
$15,000 in a:ø; Administration funjs ani awroximately $140,000 in
oon-cx:.upatitive funjs per the Joint Powers Agreement signed with the
OJunty on september 6, 1990.
NCM, 'IHEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of CUpertino hereby
certifies that the projects bein;J proposed for fI.ux:liD;J meet the
certifications outlined in Section 570.303 of the a:mmmity Developnent
Block Grant Administrative Regulations; ani
BE IT FURIHER RESOLVED that the City Manager is hereby authorized to
suJ:mit the follCMin;J project proposals to the County of Santa Clara:

- Affordable Housin;J F\In:i

hereby authorizes the City Manager to exea.tte the agreement for allocation
of Eighteenth Year (1992-93) ComnIJnity Developnent Block Grant fw'xJs.
BE IT FURIHER RESOLVED that any increases or decreases in the expected
allocation will be made against the Affordable Housin;J F\In:i allocation.
