~ ACT ASSIS'I2\NΠFUNDS FOR FISCAL YEAR 1991-92
FOR H<H:S'IEAD ROAD (SOO'IHSIDE) STREET ~
WHEREAS, the Transportation Developænt Act ('IDA) (Pub. Uti!. Code
99200 et ~) provides for the disbursement of funds fran the IDeal
Transportation Fund of the County of Santa Clara for use by eligible
claimants for the purpose of Haœstead Road street inprovanents; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the 'IDA, and pursuant to the
applicable rules and regulations thereunder (21 Cal Adm. Code 6600 et
~) a prospective claimant wishing to receive an allocation fran the
IDeal Metropolitan Transportation Cmmission; and
WHEREAS, 'IDA funds fran the IDeal Transportation Fund of Santa Clara
County will be required by claimant in Fiscal Year 1991-92 for Hanestead
Road street inprovements and
WHEREAS, the City of Cupertino is an eligible claimant for 'IDA funds
pursuant to sections 99233.3, 99234 as attested by the City of Cupertino's
opinion of oounsel dated March 30, 1988;
NCM, 'lHEREFŒE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Cupertino City Council
is authorized to execute and file an appropriate 'IDA claim together with
all necessary supporting documents, with the Metropolitan Transportation
Ccmnission in oonjunction with the filing claim; and the Metropolitan
Transportation Ccmnission be requested to grant the allocations of funds
as specified herein.
