WHEREAS, the applicant has mat the burden of proof required to su¡;p:>rt
his said application; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Ccmnission, after duly noticed public hearings,
has forwarded its reacmœndations to the City Council.
tm, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that after careful consideration of
maps, facts, exhibits and other evidence subnitted in this matter, the
application for the variance (3-V-92) be and the same is hereby approved
with the following conditions and findings:
<XIIDITIŒS :
1. APPRCJ\IED EXHffiITS
The reacmœndation of approval is based on Exhibits Al through A4
dated 1992 as it applies to second floor south setback.
FINDThGS:
1. The addition will not create significant off-site iIlpacts.
2. 'Ihe addition is architecturally <XIIpdtible with the existing
structure.
3. The functionalism of the interior spaces will raœin usable. 'Ihe
granting of the variance will allow the preservation of the
petitioner's property rights.
4. As viewed fran the Camumity Center, the addition will appear
consistent with the original building lines.

5. 'Ihere are exceptional circumstances applying to the existing
building that does not apply generally to other similar hanes in
the same district. 'Ihe tract of hanes has a much larger second
sto:ry than no:rnally constructed during the 1970s in this
OCIIIIIUIlÌty.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and is hereby directed
to notify the parties affected by this decision.
