PSC 10-19-2023 (Public Safety Forum) AMENDED SPECIAL CITY OF CUPERTINO PUBLIC SAFETY COMMISSION MEETING THURSDAY, OCTOBER 19, 2023 AT 5:00 PM Amended on 10/17/23 at 2:30 p.m. to update ADA language. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Special City of Cupertino Public Safety Commission Meeting will be held on Thursday, October 19 at 5:00 p.m. regarding the following: Public Safety Forum Speakers include Mayor Hung Wei and representatives from the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office and Fire Department. Additional speakers include the Santa Clara County FireSafe Council and a youth spotlight on the winner of the Cupertino Cybersecurity Fair. The event will be moderated by the Cupertino Public Safety Commission. City Councilmembers may also attend. Members of the public will be able to give feedback during Questions and Answer segments. Representatives from each organization will be available throughout the event. This meeting will be held Quinlan Community Center, 10185 North Stelling Road, Cupertino, California. In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), anyone who is planning to attend this Commission meeting who is visually or hearing impaired or has any disability that needs special assistance should call the City Clerk's Office at 408-777-3223, at least 48 hours in advance of the Commission meeting to arrange for assistance. In addition, upon request, in advance, by a person with a disability, Commission meeting agendas and writings distributed for the meeting that are public records will be made available in the appropriate alternative format.
