FOLLOWING FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLE (EV) CHARGING STATIONS (CGBSC 4.106.4):
2. INSTALL A MINIMUM 1-INCH CONDUIT CAPABLE OF SUPPLYING A 208/240V BRANCH

1. "AUTOMATIC IRRIGATION SYSTEMS INSTALLED AS PART OF THE PROJECT SHALL BE WEATHER
OR SOIL MOISTURE BASED" PER CGBS SECTION 4.304.1.
2. "ANNULAR SPACES AROUND PIPES, ELECTRIC CABLES, CONDUITS, OR OTHER OPENINGS IN PLATES AT
EXTERIOR WALLS SHALL BE PROTECTED AGAINST THE PASSAGE OF RODENTS BY CLOSING SUCH
OPENINGS WITH CEMENT MORTAR, CONCRETE MASONRY OR SIMILAR METHOD" PER CGBS SECTION 4.406.
3. "DUCT OPENINGS AND OTHER RELATED AIR DISTRIBUTION COMPONENTS OPENING SHALL BE
COVERED DURING CONSTRUCTION" PER SECTION CGBS 4.504.1.
4. "ADHESIVES, SEALANTS AND CAULKS SHALL BE COMPLIANT WITH VOC AND OTHER
TOXIC COMPOUND LIMITS" PER CGBS SECTION 4.504.2.
5. "BATHROOM EXHAUST FANS WHICH EXHAUST DIRECTLY FROM BATHROOMS SHALL
COMPLY WITH CGBS 4.506 AND SHALL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
a. BE ENERGY STAR COMPLIANT AND BE DUCTED TO THE OUTSIDE AIR.
b. UNLESS FUNCTIONING AS A COMPONENT OF A WHOLE HOUSE VENTILATION SYSTEM,
FANS MUST BE CONTROLLED BY A HUMIDITY CONTROL.
1) HUMIDISTAT CONTROLS SHALL BE CAPABLE OF ADJUSTMENT BETWEEN A RELATIVE
HUMIDITY OF < 50% TO A MAXIMUM OF 80%.
2) A HUMIDITY CONTROL MAY BE A SEPARATE COMPONENT TO THE EXHAUST
FAN AND IS NOT REQUIRED TO BE INTEGRAL (BUILT IN) TO THE FAN.
3) FOR THE PURPOSES OF THIS SECTION A BATHROOM IS A ROOM WHICH CONTAINS A BATHTUB,
SHOWER OR TUB/SHOWER COMBINATION. (BATHING FACILITIES)
RESILIENT FLOORING SYSTEMS INSTALLED SHALL MEET THE PERCENTAGES:
TIER 2. AT LEAST 100 PERCENT OF THE TOTAL AREA, TIER 1. AT LEAST 90 PERCENT OF THE TOTAL
AREA OF RESILIENT FLOORING INSTALLED SHALL COMPLY WITH THE VOC-EMISSION LIMITS DEFINED

WHENTHE FRAMING MEMBERS EXCEED 19-PERCENT MOISTURE CONTENT.MOISTURE CONTENT SHALL
BE VERIFIED IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE FOL-LOWING:
MOISTURE CONTENT SHALL BE DETERMINED WITH EITHER APROBE-TYPE OR CONTACT-TYPE
MOISTURE METER. EQUIVALENTMOISTURE VERIFICATION METHODS MAY BE APPROVED BY

MOISTURE READINGS SHALL BE TAKEN AT A POINT 2 FEET (610MM) TO 4 FEET (1219 MM) FROM THE
GRADE STAMPED ENDOF EACH PIECE TO BE VERIFIED.
AT LEAST THREE RANDOM MOISTURE READINGS SHALL BE PER-FORMED ON WALL AND FLOOR
FRAMING WITH DOCUMENTATIONACCEPTABLE TO THE ENFORCING AGENCY PROVIDED AT THE
TIMEOF APPROVAL TO ENCLOSE THE WALL AND FLOOR FRAMING.INSULATION PRODUCTS WHICH
ARE VISIBLY WET OR HAVE A HIGHMOISTURE CONTENT SHALL BE REPLACED OR ALLOWED TO DRY
PRIOR TOENCLOSURE IN WALL OR FLOOR CAVITIES. WET-APPLIED INSULATIONPRODUCTS SHALL

REMOVE AND REPLACE BROKEN CURB AND GUTTER AS
DIRECTED BY THE PUBLIC WORKS INSPECTOR. ENSURE CURB
AND GUTTER PROVIDES FOR POSITIVE DRAINAGE. SAW CUT 1’
MIN. OF EXISTING AC PAVEMENT ALONG THE CURB & GUTTER
TO BE REMOVED. REPLACE ASPHALT WITH A MINIMUM 12” AC
DEEP LIFT PLUG.”
RODRIGUES AVE IS RECENTLY PAVED; THEREFORE, A STREET
CUT MORATORIUM IS IN PLACE FOR A PERIOD OF THREE
YEARS. HOWEVER, EXCEPTIONS CAN BE GRANTED WITH
PROPER PAVEMENT RESTORATION SUCH AS SLURRY SEAL.
THEREFORE, ADDITIONAL COST MAY BE ADDED TO ANY
UTILITY WORK IN THE PAVEMENT.”
STREET TREE TO BE INSTALLED BY THE CITY. UPON PROJECT
COMPLETION, THE PROPERTY OWNER SHALL PREPARE AN
ADEQUATE PLANTING AREA AND CONTACT THE CITY AT
408- 777-3269 TO ARRANGE FOR THE TREE INSTALLATION.
IT IS THE OWNER’S AND CONTRACTOR’S RESPONSIBILITY TO
ENSURE FENCE LOCATION AND HEIGHT ARE INSTALLED PER
THE APPROVED PLAN. FENCES SHALL NOT ENCROACH INTO
PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY.
