Awticle II, Paragraph J. of our Agreement for State Ministration
of Local Sales and Use Taxes provides that the city agrees to
fw:nish two maps of the annexed area with appropriate addresses
Emu city sales and use tax purposes. Annexations are prvcesaed
by this Department to identify any business in the area so that
city will receive the local sales and use tax collected.

the annexation, a statement to that effect and the maps will be

provision of urban services to a planned 4 unit single-faPiiy development. All necessary
urban services are lamedlately available to the site and have adequate capacities. The
proposed project Conforms to tiro city of Cupertino Ge-Jral Plan. The project will have
a very slight growth inducing impact in that it will Increase the demand for services and
will contribute slightly to the regional and local Impact on traffic volumes and of air
and wester pollution. However, the project will not by Itself result In any significant
regional Impacts. Accordingly,staff issues this annexation application a negative

WHEREAS, on the 2nd day of December, 1976,. there was filed with this
Council a petition requesting the annexation to the City of Cupertino all of
the territory hereinafter described; and
WHEREAS, this Council has received evidence showing that, and finds
a written description of the proposal to annex said territory to the City
of Cupertino was filed with the Local, Agency Formation Commission, of Santa
Clara County and with the Secretar,' of the said Commission of Sarita Clara County,
?California, and that said Commission has prepared, or caused to be prepared,
a report to the proponents of said annexation upon said annexation proposal„
all as required by law, and that said Local. Agency Formation Commission has
approved the boundaries of said proposed annexation; and this Council has
received evi.,;erice showing, and finds that the above-mentioned petition was
mat circulated. signed or filed with the Council until after said Commission
._ad made, or caused to be made, said report and had :approved said boundaries
and until after said Local Agency Formation Commission had approved said annexa-
tion proposal; and
WHEREAS, this Council has received evidence showing, further finds:
_. That the said territory is situate immediately adjacent to and touches
and is contiguous to the boundaries of the City of Cupertino; and
That less than twelve registered voters resided wi.thln said territory
at the time the above-mentioned petition was filed with Council, and
that said territory is therefore uninhabited; and
:. That said petition is signed by owners of noi less than one-fourth of
the land in said territory by area and by :assessed value as shown on
the last equalized assessment roll of the County of Santa Clara, Cal.iforn.ia,
in which said County such territory is situated.
