A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO �Jt
ORDERING VACATION OF A PORTION OF PUBLIC SERVICE EASE MENT
WITHIN PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF ROUTE 280
AND WOLFE ROAD PURSUANT TO SECTIONN 50430 OF THE GOVERNMENT
CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA.
WHEREAS, hearing on Resolution of Intention No. 7148 was held on May
18, 1987 at a regular meeting of the City Council at 10500 North DeAnza
Boulevard, Cupertino, California;
WHEREAS, it appears that notice thereof was duly given as required by
law; and
WHEREAS from the evidence presented, both oral and documentary, it
appears to be to the best interest of the City to vacate the hereinafter
described portion of public service easement; that said portion of said
easement is unecessary for present or prospective public street purposes;
1. That all or any protests against the vacation of said public
service easement be and hereby are overruled and denied;
2. That that certain portion of said easement described and shown in
Exhibits "A" and "B" attached hereto and made part hereof, be and hereby
is vacated.

That the City Clerk be hereby is instructed and directed to cause a
certified copy of this resolution, attested to and sealed with the
official seal of the City, to be recorded with the County Recorder of the
County of Santa Clara, California, forthwith.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Cupertino this 18th day of M-ay, 1987 by the following vote:

Public Service Easement
to be Abandoned
THOSE certain easements situate in the City of Cupertino, County of Santa
Clara, State of California described as follows:
Portions of those certain public service easements described in deeds
recorded October 14, 1960 in Book 4950 of Official Records at page 447,
Santa Clara County Records and March 14, 1960 in Book 4727 of Official
Records at page 336, Santa Clara County Records for the installation
replacement, maintenance and use of potable water, storm water and
sanitary sewage pipelines said easements being 10 feet and 8 feet in width
respectively, more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at the Northwesterly corner of Parcel 2, as said parcel is shown
on that certain Parcel Map recorded December 30, 1986 in Book 569 of Maps
at pages 41 and 42, Santa Clara County Records, thence along the Westerly
line of said Parcel 2 South 00'17'32" East 136.95 feet to a point in the
Northerly line of that certain 8 foot wide public service easement as
described above, thence along said Northerly line North 89'44'39.5" East
20.94 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence continuing along said
Northerly line North 89'44139.5" East 443.67 feet; thence leaving said
Northerly line South 16'09'13" West 18.76 feet to a point in the Southerly
line of the hereinabove described 10 foot wide public service easement;
thence along said southerly line South 89'4439.5" West 407.61 feet;
thence leaving said southerly line North 59'55'18" West 35.64 feet to the
True Point of Beginning and terminus of this description.
