AREAS, there is unincorporated territory contiguous
to the City of Cupertino and consisting solely of a highway,
and
WHEREAS* the Santa Clara County Local Atancy Formation
Ca fission has approved an application for the annexation of
the, territory herein described to the City of Cupertino, known
60 Meclellso 63-1.5
WMEREAS# the Board of Supervisors of Santa Clara County
has determined that the interests of this county will be
furthered by amexation of said highway to the City of
Cupertino;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisore
of Santa Clara County that it does hereby intend to annex
the territory described in Exhibit A to the City of Cupertino
in acaordaft* with Article 7* Chapter 1# Part 2, Division 2.
Title 4 of the Coveraviont Code.
W IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the clark of this Board is
directed to set this setter for public hearing on MAR 2 21966,
0-00
and to cause notice of this proposed annexation to be given in
oecordance with Government Code Section 35452.
