A RESOLUTION OF THE HOUSING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO
APPROVING THE UPDATE OF THE ANALYSIS OF IMPEDIMENTS TO FAIR
HOUSING CHOICE (AI)
WHEREAS, the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974 provides that
funds be made available for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program
through the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD); and
WHEREAS, the City of Cupertino participates in the CDBG Program in order to
provide affordable housing opportunities for low and very low-income households; and
WHEREAS, the City of Cupertino is required to certify that it will affirmati"'.ely
further fair housing in order to continue receiving CDBG funding from HUD; and
WHEREAS, the City of Cupertino must submit said Analysis of Impediments to Fair
Housing Choice (AI) to demonstrate it is affirmatively further fair housing; and
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Housing Commission of the City of
Cupertino approves the update of the Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice (AI)
and authorizes staff to submit to HUD to be placed on file.
