CALL TO ORDER
Vice Chair Parish opened the meeting at 9:00am.
Commissioner Gandikota departed from meeting at 11:00am.

2. Subject: Discuss potential City Work Programs Proposals for Fiscal Year (FY) 2022‐23
Recommended Action: Recommend potential City Work Program proposals for FY 2022‐2023,
identifying the top three proposals, limited to no more than five.

Staff member Heusler provided a presentation and answered questions from Commissioners. Member of
the public Jennifer Griffin spoke regarding the Westport project’s Below Market Rate units and the
potential for student housing. Member of the public Liana Crabtree spoke regarding the complexities of
student housing, proposal benchmark best practices with other Cities, and the proposal to acquire
duplex or single‐family home housing, and to determine who the property owners are for potential
housing development area.
Commissioners recommended the Housing Commission Proposals for the FY 2022‐23 City Work
Program (attached).
