Subject: Evaluation Process for the Fiscal Year 2022-23 Community Funding Grant Program Recommended Action: Review the evaluation process for the Fiscal Year 2022-23 Community Funding Grant Program. Assistant Director Sander presented on the item and reviewed the evaluation process with the Commissioners. STAFF AND COMMISSION REPORTS 4. Subject: Monthly Update Reports. Recommended Action: Receive monthly update reports from the Director of Parks and Recreation and commissioners. Director Magrini provided the Director’s update on the following: - Continued COVID testing at the Senior Center. Next date is on Monday, March 7. - Mask mandate was removed yesterday and signs were updated at City buildings. Recommendation to continue to wear facemasks in indoor spaces. - Potentially moving back to in-person meetings in the next few months. - Hosting the Big Bunny 5k and Kids Fun Run on Saturday, April 16 at the Civic Center and registration is available now at reg4rec.org. Commissioner Stanek had attended the February Mayor’s meeting and reported on the following: - Had provided an update to the other Commissioners on what work program items were proposed. The work program item will be discussed by City Council on March 8. - Vice Mayor Chao will lead the even month Mayor’s Meetings, while Mayor Paul will lead the odd month Mayor’s Meetings.
