It's the holiday season and a time for family, friends, gatherings and I.
possibly a vacation too! The Library can help you prepare and enjoy the
holidays with booklists, programs, online resources and more.

If you're hosting a gathering, let us help you plan the perfect menu and
decorate to make the event festive. We can even show you how to 1
make your own wreath or holiday cards. To keep the kids busy during
Winter break, register for events for the whole family including the North I
Pole Review puppet show. Don't forget to pick up some favorite reads
and movies too. And did you know SCCLD has console games for W ��
Xbox, PS4 and more?We also have Consumer Reports to shop for the
perfect holiday gifts this season.
If your travel plans include areas where another language is spoken,

Many of these resources have study guides to help educators create lesson plans and curriculum
around these books. New readers will be able to utilize the Read Along feature that highlights the words
being spoken in the video. Closed captions are also available to help assist in learning and to develop
language recognition. Finally, translations are available on some materials in both Spanish and
Mandarin. Weston Woods will be found on our website in our Kids Online Library under Learning and
Homework Help, eBooks &Audiobooks and Find a Good Book and within the Student Portal.
