NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Special City of Cupertino Public Safety
Commission Meeting will be held on Thursday, October 21 at 5:30 p.m. regarding the
following:
Public Safety Forum
Speakers include Mayor Darcy Paul and representatives from the Santa Clara County
Sheriff’s Office, Fire Department, and Public Health Department. Additional speakers
include a volunteer spotlight on the Wildfire Awareness Initiative (WAI) from
Kennedy Middle School and the non-profit WomenSV in honor of Domestic Violence
Awareness Month (October). The event will be moderated by the Cupertino Public
Safety Commission. City Councilmembers may also attend.
Members of the public will be able to give feedback during Questions and Answer
segments. Representatives from each organization will be available throughout the
event.
This meeting will be held in Civic Center Plaza, 10300 Torre Avenue, Cupertino,
California.
In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), anyone who is planning to
attend this teleconference Commission meeting who is visually or hearing impaired or has any
disability that needs special assistance should call the City Clerk's Office at 408-777-3223, at
least 48 hours in advance of the Commission meeting to arrange for assistance. In addition,
upon request, in advance, by a person with a disability, Commission meeting agendas and
writings distributed for the meeting that are public records will be made available in the
appropriate alternative format.
