1.October 23, 2019 – Commissioner Venkatasubramanian motions to approve minutes. Commissioner Gu
seconds motion. Motion passes unanimously.

OLD BUSINESS
2.Teen Workshops Proposal Review – Chamber Music Workshop
The Commission had an opportunity to discuss the application and ask questions from local teen,
Ajay Mallya. Chair Tung motions to not include the Chamber Music Workshop as part of the Teen
Workshops Program. Commissioner Natarajan seconds the motion. Motion passes unanimously.
NEW BUSINESS
3.<hack> Cupertino 2020
Potential judges, judging criteria, and workshops were discussed, and a list of potential judges and
workshops were generated. Commissioners will be following up on these items at the next
meeting.
4.If I Were Mayor Contest
Item moved to next meeting agenda.
5.Teen Center Location
City staff presented to the Commission regarding a proposal to move the Cupertino Teen Center to
the Portal Park Building and gathered their feedback.
6.Holiday Meetings
The Teen Commission decided to cancel regular meetings being held on November 27th and
December 25th.

At 8:52 pm the Teen Commission adjourned to a REGULAR MEETING which will be held on December 11,
2019 at 6:00pm at Quinlan Community Center, 10185 N. Stelling Rd. Cupertino, CA 95014.
