Thursday, January 14, 2021 9:00 AM Teleconference Meeting TELECONFERENCE / PUBLIC PARTICIPATION INFORMATION TO HELP STOP THE SPREAD OF COVID-19 In accordance with Governor Newsom’s Executive Order No-29-20, this will be a teleconference meeting without a physical location to help stop the spread of COVID-19. Members of the public wishing comment on an item on the agenda may do so in the following ways: 1) E-mail comments by 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 13th to the Commission at housingcommission@cupertino .org. These e-mail comments will be received by the Commission before the meeting and posted to the City ’s website after the meeting. 2) E-mail comments during the times for public comment during the meeting to the Commission at housingcommission@cupertino .org. The staff liaison will read the emails into the record, and display any attachments on the screen, for up to 3 minutes (subject to the Chair’s discretion to shorten time for public comments). Members of the public that wish to share a document must email housingcommision@cupertino .org prior to speaking. 3) Teleconferencing Instructions Members of the public may observe the teleconference meeting or provide oral public comments as follows: Oral public comments will be accepted during the teleconference meeting . Commissioner Gandikota joined the meeting at 9:04am. ROLL CALL Commission Members present: Sue Bose, Chair Connie Cunningham, Vice Chair Siva Gandikota, Commissioner Sanjiv Kapil, Commissioner Tessa Parish, Commissioner Commission Members absent: Staff present: Kerri Heusler, Housing Manager Beth Ebben, Deputy Board Clerk APPROVAL OF MINUTES 1. Minutes of the September 16, 2020 Housing Commission meeting were approved as written. Parish moved and Kapil seconded. AYES: Bose, Kapil, Parish NOES: ABSTAIN: Cunningham ABSENT: Gandikota VOTE: 3-0-1-1 ORAL COMMUNICATIONS Member of the public Jennifer Griffin spoke about appreciation for the Housing Commission and member of the public Liana Crabtree spoke about homelessness. WRITTEN COMMUNICATIONS None PUBLIC HEARINGS 2. Subject: Santa Clara County Community Plan to End Homelessness 2020-25 Recommended Action: Adopt Draft Resolution No. 20-04 recommending approval of the Santa Clara County Community Plan to End Homelessness 20020-25 to the City Council for final endorsement The Commission accepted a presentation from Ray Bramson of Destination: HOME and Kathryn Kaminski of the Santa Clara County Office of Supportive Housing.
