PSC 10-13-05 · CUPEIQ1NO MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE CUPERTINO PUBLIC SAFETY COMMISSION October 13, 2005 The meeting was called to order at 7:04 p.m. ROLL CALL Commissioners Present: Commissioners Absent: Staff Present: Charles Caldwell, Jay Cena Barry Chang, Nolan Chen, Hugh Riddell Glenn Goepfert, Assistant Director of Public Works REPORTS Santa Clara County Fire District - Dan Dunlap, represented Chief Lopes and distributed activity logs for the months of May, June, July, and August. Santa Clara County Sheriff - Cap!. Hirokawa reported that there has not been much activity in Cupertino recently, but due to a trend in burglaries that began earlier this year, the Department is sending personal invitations to residents of East Indian descent to attend a burglary prevention forum scheduled for November 17, 6:30-9:00 p.m. The forum is open to all members of the community and an announcement will be placed in the Cupertino Scene, Los Gatos Weekly and Cupertino Courier regarding the event. He reported on the bus-bicycle accident at Hazelbrook and Stelling on September 8 and stated that the bicyclist is now out of the hospital and doing well.
