PUBLIC SAFETY COMMISSION

The meeting was called to order at 7:04 p.m.

REPORTS
Santa Clara County Fire District - Dan Dunlap, represented Chief Lopes and distributed activity
logs for the months of May, June, July, and August.
Santa Clara County Sheriff - Cap!. Hirokawa reported that there has not been much activity in
Cupertino recently, but due to a trend in burglaries that began earlier this year, the Department is
sending personal invitations to residents of East Indian descent to attend a burglary prevention
forum scheduled for November 17, 6:30-9:00 p.m. The forum is open to all members of the
community and an announcement will be placed in the Cupertino Scene, Los Gatos Weekly and
Cupertino Courier regarding the event.
He reported on the bus-bicycle accident at Hazelbrook and Stelling on September 8 and stated
that the bicyclist is now out of the hospital and doing well.
The meeting was adjourned for lack of quorum.
