Koenitzer, passed unanimously to approve 1983 regular meeting. seconded by Com. Blaine and the minutes of the May 23, POSTPONE11ENTS OR NEW AGENDA ITE11S Director of Planning and Development Sisk explained to the Commission that Item #1 on the agenda should be postponed to a later date. It was moved by Com. Koenitzer, seconded by Com. Blaine and passed unanimously to postpone Item #1, Application 2l-U-83 JOSEPH BROWN to the meeting of July 28, 1983. WRITTEN COMMUNICATIONS - None ORAL COMMUNICATIONS - None PUBLIC HEARINGS 2. CITY OF CUPERTINO: PUBLIC HEARING to amend the Rl (Residential Single-family) and RHS (Residential Hillside Slope Density Formula) zoning districts to all "second units" (two dwelling units) on a single family lot and amend provisions related to building height and setbacks. ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW: The Environmental Review Committee recommends the granting of Negative Declaration. First Hearing. Tentative City Council hearing date - August 15, 1983. Jack Wheelwright, Villarea~, Saratoga, addressed Commission regarding the sound levels from the proposed site. Com. Blaine questioned Dr. Brown regarding sound, smell and air conditioning of the proposed site It was moved by Com. Dlaine, seconded by Com. Koenitzer and passed unanimously to close public hearing. Commission conditions. discussion ensued regarding use permit It was moved by Com. Blaine, seconed by Com. Koenitzer and passed unanimously to recommend approval of Application 2l-U-83 Joseph Srown. Conditions 1-14, 15 and 16 as per staff recommendation, 17 as amended, 18 as amended, 19 as per staff report, amended to read stage 2 to be completed by July 1984, 20 and 21 as per staff recommendation, findings and subconclusions as per staff report. Com. Blaine requested information from staff regarding the Bryan Canyon solid waste issue.
