Reso 2211 10-U-81 RESOLUTION NO. 2211 OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO APPROVING THE RENEWAL OF A USE PERMIT FOR AN EXISTING PRE-SCHOOL FACILITY FOR 36 CHILDREN. • APPLICANT: De Anza Pines Pre-School ADDRESS : 11100 South Stelling Road, Cupertino, California 95014 SUBMITTED: . April 13, 1981 LOCATION: East side of Stelling Road approximately 50 ft. south of the 85 right of way. The following incorporates the conditions as set forth in County Use Permit File 6P73.1 which shall remain in effect and Conditions 23(amended) and 24 added by the Cupertino Planning Commission: 1. Submit two (2) copies of landscape plans for approval three working days prior to applying for a building permit. Plans shall include type, size and location of all plant materials. 2. Comply with the requirements of the County Department of Public Works . .. Building Inspection Division and conditions of approval in-Exhibit "B" prior to issuance of a building permit or establishing the proposed use. 3. No signs approved at this time. 4. Provide adequate on-site storm. drainage. 5. Provide a minimum of five (5) off-street parking spaces delineated by painted lines. 6. Parking areas and driveways to be paved with asphalt paving or better. 7. Provide a 4" to 6" high concrete curb between all landscaped areas and automobile traffic. 8. Ingress and egress locations to be limited to : two total 20 ft. wide drives onto Stelling Road. 9. Entrances to be signed and marked on pavement for one-way traffic movements. 10. Landscaping - Provide landscaping plant materials as shown on the approved plans. Provide a 25 ft. deep landscaped yard along Stelling Road frontage. Water shall be piped to all landscaped areas. All landscaped areas shall be continuously maintained. 1L. Provide a landscape buffer of dense screening plant material along the southerly property line. 12. Maintain the 6 ft. high solid board fence along the south property line. 13. On-site lighting shall be designed, controlled and maintained so that no light source is visible from off the property. 411 -1- 10-U-81 Resolution No. 2211 (continued) 410 14. Comply with the requirements of the Santa Clara County Fire Prevention Code and/or the requirements of the State Fire Marshal. a. Provide clearance from Central Fire District. b. Obtain clearance from Fire Marshal for conversion to school use. 15 . Comply with the following requirements of the County Health Department. a. Connect to sanitary sewer - Cupertino Sanitation District b. Other (contact Health Department) . Water supply to be provided by San Jose Water Works. c. Provide additional toilet facilities. 16. Obtain necessary permit from State Department of Social Welfare for uses proposed at, this location. 17. Building to meet all current building codes for C-3 occupancy; obtain necessary permits from Building Inspector. 18. Provide trash enclosure for dumpster. 19. Total number of children on the property at any one time not to exceed 36. 20. Hours of operation: Nursery School use: 9 :00 a.m. to 12 :30 p.m. five days a week 12 :30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. five days a week Day Care use: 7:00 a.m. to 6 :30 p.m. five days a week 21. Existing trees on the site to be maintained, dead and dying trees to be removed. Undeveloped portion of property to be kept clear of weeds and debris. 22. Area between existing Stelling Road improvements and new property be landscaped with ground cover, driveway to be paved with AC (asphalt concrete) . 23 (Amended) . The Planning Commission may, upon its own motion, set a public hearing to review this permit. Notification shall be given to property owners and residents within 300 ft. of the facility. The Commission may, upon proper findings, revoke, modify conditions of approval, and extend this permit. 24.
