Reso 1805 • 81,089.5 RESOLUTION NO. 1805 OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO RECOMMENDING THAT THE. CITY COUNCIL FORWARD COMMENTS TO THE CITY OF LOS ALTOS OF NOT BEING OPPOSED TO THE CONSTRUCTION OF A 216-UNIT APARTMENT DEVELOPMENT LOCATED ON HOMESTEAD ROAD NEAR FOOTHILL EXPRESSWAY. • Findings: The Commission finds that the proposal of constructing a 216-unit apartment project with 33% of the units (72) being devoted to retirement housing to be consistent with the social goals set forth in the City of Cupertino General Plan, and therefore is not in opposition to the proposed development. However, the Commission finds that due to traffic conditions within the Homestead/ Foothill Expressway area, Los Altos should require the developer to install a traffic signal at the project driveway intersection with Homestead Road. 411 PASSED AND ADOPTED this 23rd day of January, 1978, at a regular meeting of the Planning Commission of the City of Cupertino, State of California, by the following roll call vote: AYES: Commissioners Adams, Blaine, Gatto, Markkula, Chairman Koenitzer NAYS: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None ATTEST: APPROVED: C44t, /s/.
