Reso 209 File No. 7-Z-64 Zone Change PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO, 209 RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO RECOM- MENDING GRANTING A ZONE CHANGE FROM AN R-i ZONE TO AN R-E:B-4 ZONE WHEREAS, the attached City Council Resolution No. 914 has been submitted to the Cupertino Planning Commission requesting a report on a change of zone in the zoning regulations of the City from an R-1 Dis- trict to an R-E:B-4 District; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held at least one public hearing in regard to ia.id Rebolution; and - - - WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has duly considered and heard all evidence submitted in regard to said Resolution; and * WHEREAS, the necessary' public notices have been given as required by the zoning ordinance of the City of Cupertino. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: 1: That the Planning Commission finds that the proposed zone change: a. Encourages the most appropriate use of land, 110 b. Conserves and stabilizes the value of property, c.o Provides for adequate open spaces for light and air, d. Permits adequate control of fires, e. Promotes the health, safety and public welfare, f. Provides for the orderly development of the City, g. Is advantageous to the property and improvements in the zoning district and neighborhood in which the property is located. 2. That said Planning Commission, therefore, reports favorably to the City Council in the matter of granting said zone change. Said approval to be subject to the following conditions: 1. Staff study the area west of Bubb Road and south of McClellan Road as an alternate location.
