A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO
ENDORSING THE PROPOSED GENERAL OBLIGATION BOND ISSUE OF THE CUPER-
SANITARY DISTRICT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A TREATMENT PLANT.
WHEREAS, the Cupertino Sanitary District provides sewerage
disposal services for the City, and
WHEREAS, the future planning of the City requires a sound
and economical sewerage system including a plant for the treat-
ment thereof, and
WHEREAS, a vital part of city planning is the reclaiming
of water wherever possible, and
WHEREAS, the proposed plan of the Cupertino Sanitary District
for a treatment plant within the Cupertino area will be an in-
valuable aid in fulfilling the aforesaid two objectives;
• NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
1, That the Cupertino Planning Commission hereby
endorses the general obligation bond proposal, the election on
which is set for December 6, 1960;
2. That the City Clerk be and hereby is instructed
to publish a certified copy of this Resolution in the Cupertino
Courier, a newspaper published and circulated within the City;
that the City Clerk is further instructed to file a certified
copy of this Resolution with the Secretary of the District Board
of the Cupertino Sanitary District;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED:
That the City Planning Commission respectfully requests
';',at the citizens of Cupertino put forward their best efforts
411 to effect a successful affirmative vote on the bond issue.
PASSED AND ADOPTED, at a regular meeting of the Planning
Commission of the City of Cupertino, this 28th day of November,
1960, by the following vote :
