Reso 017 RESOLUTION NO. 17
CITY OF CUPERTINO PLANNING COMMISSION
STATE OF CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS, the City Council of Cupertino has requested a
report or recommendation of the Planning Commission of the City
of Cupertino for the proposed annexation of uninhabited territory
named "Bubb-3";
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission,
after careful consideration, finds:
(1) That those who now seek urgency greenbelt
from the County are a fully employed steam
fitter, a retired railroad engineer, a school
teacher, a San Jose stock broker, and house
developer;
(2) That none of these areas so applying are
presently devoted to agriculture--that the
future of the area is for residential
development;
(3) That the City is ready to render municipal
services that may be needed or required, and
that it is in the best interests of the City,
® County and west side residents that said
territory be annexed to the City of Cupertino
and the Planning Commission recommends to the
City Council that said territory be annexed;
and that urgency greenbelting by the County be
denied.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk be and he is
hereby directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution
to the City Council of the City of Cupertino, and the Santa
Clara County Planning Commission.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City of Cupertino Planning
Commission, State of California, this 12th day of August, 1960,
by the following roll call vote:
AYES: Adamo, Jewett, Rampy, Small, Leonard
NAYS: None
ABSENT: Bagar, Snyder
ABSTAIN: None
