Reso 017 RESOLUTION NO. 17 CITY OF CUPERTINO PLANNING COMMISSION STATE OF CALIFORNIA WHEREAS, the City Council of Cupertino has requested a report or recommendation of the Planning Commission of the City of Cupertino for the proposed annexation of uninhabited territory named "Bubb-3"; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission, after careful consideration, finds: (1) That those who now seek urgency greenbelt from the County are a fully employed steam fitter, a retired railroad engineer, a school teacher, a San Jose stock broker, and house developer; (2) That none of these areas so applying are presently devoted to agriculture--that the future of the area is for residential development; (3) That the City is ready to render municipal services that may be needed or required, and that it is in the best interests of the City, ® County and west side residents that said territory be annexed to the City of Cupertino and the Planning Commission recommends to the City Council that said territory be annexed; and that urgency greenbelting by the County be denied. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk be and he is hereby directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to the City Council of the City of Cupertino, and the Santa Clara County Planning Commission.
