OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO
DENYING A MINOR AMENDMENT TO USE PERMIT 3-U-87
TO EXPAND THE CONVENIENCE MARKET FLOOR AREA TO 1500 SQ. FT.
FROM 1,100 SQ. FT. , TO EXPAND THE MEZZANINE FLOOR AREA
BY 125 SQ.FT. TO 1,125 SQ. FT. , AND DENYING
VARIOUS ARCHITECTURAL MODIFICATIONS
SECTION I: FINDINGS
1) The Planning Commission finds that the proposed increase of 90 sq,
ft. of new floor area on the lower level, combined with convbersion
of approximately 300 sq. ft. of restroart/office space to cold
storage for a total minimarket area of 1,500 sq.ft. will increase
customer activity and parking demand beyond the levels anticipated
in the base Use Permit approval, and is thus beyond the scope of a
minor amendment.
2) The proposaed architectural modifications are nPr.Pssary to
accommodate the floor area adjustments described in Finding 1, and
are thus denied.

the Planning Commission of the City of Cupertino, State of California, by
the following roll-call vote:
