OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO
RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL THAT A GENERAL
PLAN AMENDMENT BE. INITIATEO TO CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING
AMENDMENTS.
. 1. Town Center
A request by Prometheus Development Company to expand the
number of permitted hotel rooms within the Town Center.
from 240 to 300 rooms.
2. Vallco Park
A request from Vallco Park, Ltd to amend the wording of
the General Plan to allow a portion of its 1,000 hotel
room allocation to be placed on a site north of 280
Freeway. The plan presently limits construction of the
hotel to an area south of the 280 Freeway. The amendment
also will consider wording to allow greater flexibility
to transfer development intensity within Vallco Park. •
3. Cupertino Elementary School District
• A request to consider expansion of permitted uses on
leased school sites. At present, only - education or
institutional activities are allowed on active school
sites.
4. Blossom Way
Request to retain the residential zoning classification
for the entire Blossom Way cul-de-sac.
5. Housing Element
PASSED AND ADOPTED this loth day of July, 1985, at a regular
adjourned meeting of the Planning Commission of the City of
Cupertino, State of California, by the following roll-call vote:
