RESOLUTION NO. 2563
OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO
RECOMMENDING THAT A PUBLIC HEARING NOT BE HELD TO
CONSIDER A GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT PERTAINING TO A
CHANGE IN LAND USE MIX FOR THE "VIDOVICH/TOWN
CENTER PROPERTIES" AREA OF THE TOWN CENTER PLANNING
AREA.
The Planning Commission finds that the proposed amendment does
not comply with necessary findings contained in the General Plan
Procedure Policy.
The Planning Commission determined that, a proposal to increase
the allowed office development by 110,000 sq. ft. and to offset
traffic created by the additional building area by changing the
residential mix to accommodate senior housing, is inconsistent
with the General Plan building area limitation established for
the Town Center Area.
IID
The Planning Commission supports the concept of changing the mix
of housing types to include more senior housing even though the
total housing count could be significantly increased.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 10th day of September, 1984, at a regular
