EDITING POLICY b A (7) OF GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT
1-GPA-80.
The Planning Commission finds that the wording of said
policy required clarification. The revised wording
makes it clear that development intensities may
exceed normal Floor Area Ratio (FAR) constraints
up to a .40 FAR as long as the absolute floor area
square footage does not exceed 1,000 sq. ft. above
the floor area permitted by the normal FAR.

"In order to facilitate redevelopment in areas characterized as
substandard, the Floor Area Ratio (FAR) for small developed or
undeveloped properties may be increased. The maximum increase
in intensity shall not exceed a .40 FAR and -- shall not exceed
