The Planning commission reccamwids the following interim design
regulations for single-family homes.-
1) Second Floor Floor Area Ratio
Second floor area may not exceed .20 of the total net lot area
2) Setbacks e Sideyard
Second floor elements shall be setback a minimm of 15 fto from one
sideyard and 10 fto from the other sideyardo
3) Vertical Extension
Vertical extension along existing building lines with consent of
neighbors shall be rescinded.
4) Vertical Space
Floor to ceiling area greater than 15 ft. is considered second floor
space.
5) Exceptions
An Exception procedure should be dished for applications which
do not conform to the above standards. Exceptions could be
processed through ASAC.
6) RipgIlLne
Sites for which a final tract map has been recorded and which have
filed for building permits prior to February 2® 1988 shall be exempt
from the interim regulations.
