RESOLUTION NO. 1423 (Minute Order)
OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO
REPORTING FINDINGS.AND RECOMMENDATIONS TO THE CITY
COUNCIL REGARDING,AN AMENDMENT OF THE CITY`S RESIDENTIAL
ZONING DISTRICTS TO REGULATE PRIVACY INTRUSION
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that privacy intrusion is a problem
that should be 'considered by the City in its development review,process9
and

WHEREAS, a review of existing ordinances and vacant land suitable for
development indicates that the greatest potential for privacy intrusion
exists in areas where multi -family dwelling units can be constructed;
THEREFORE, the Planning Commission recommends that the R3 and R2 zoning
ordinances be amended to include performance standards to ensure privacy
for living units within and external to each multiple family development°
