Present: Chokshi, Dhami, Kasamsetty, Mahalingam, Matley
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
1. Approval of the Draft Minutes from the February 28, 2019 meeting
Motions:
Commissioner Chokshimotioned and Commissioner Matley seconded the motion
to approve minutes from January 28, 2019. Motioned approved 4-0-1 (absent,
Kasamsetty ).
ORAL COMMUNICATIONS
Diana Argrabite, Director of Euphrat Museum of Art, was in attendance to the
invite a commissioner to join her at the Cherry Blossom Festival on the
amphitheater stage at Memorial Park on Saturday April 27th at 1pm. There is a
tradition of having Cupertino children from our Arts & Schools Program create a
collaborative project inspired by a Japanese theme for the festival and they have
scheduled me to speak on behalf of the Euphrat Museum of Art.
Commissioner Kasamsetty joined the meeting during oral communications.

2. Distinguished and Emerging Artists Award Program 2019-2020.
Commissioner Chokshi planned to revise the flyer and all commissioners
would comment within several business days so that the program can launch
on Friday, March 29th.

Chair Mahalingam adjourned the meeting at 7:25 p.m. to the regular meeting on March
25, 2019 at City Hall, Conference Room C.
