Reso 4174APPLICATION 11-Z-88 CITY OF CUPERTINO 10300 Torre Avenue Cupertino, California 95014 RESOLUTION No. 4174 OF THE PIANNIM C2f1IS.SION OF THE CITY OF CUPFI2TIN0 RDOCf4gNDIING APPROVAL A CHANGE OF ZONING FROM P (PLANNED DEVEFAR Mn W/RFSIDERrIAIr ZONAL INIM?r) TO FP (PRIVATE RECRFATICN) SECTION I• FINDINGS wHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Cupertino has received an application for a change of zone, as described on Page 2 of this Resolution; and wHERREA.S, the necessary public notices have been given in accordance with the Procedural Ordinance of the City of Cupertino, and the Planning Commission has held one or more Public Hearings on this matter; and WHEREAS, the proposed zoning change as recammerded by the Planning co mnission satisfies the following requirements: 1) The recommended charge of zone encourages the most appropriate use of land 2) The recommended change of zone conserves and stabilizes the value of ply 3) The recommended charge of zone promotes the health, safety and general welfare of the commnlity. 4) The recommended charge of zone provides for the orderly development of the City. 5) The recommended change of zone is advantageous to the property and improvements in the zoning district and neighborhood in which the subject site is located. 6) The reoammerded change of zone expands the range of allowable recreation use options, consistent with the site's "Private Recreation" designation in the General Plan. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That after careful consideration of maps, facts, exhibits, testimony and other evidence submitted in this matter, the Planning Caumission hereby recommends approval of the subject charge of zone by the City Council of the City of Cupertino; and BE IT FUFa= RESOLVED That the subconclusions upon which the findings specified in this Resolution are based are contained in the Public Hearing record concerning Application ll -Z-88 as set forth in the Minutes of the Planning Commission meeting of June 12, 1989 and are incorporated by reference as though fully set forth herein.
