TO RHS (RESIDENTIAL HTTLSIDE) ZONE
SECTION 1• FINDINGS
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Cupertino has received an
application for a zoning or prezoning, as described an Page 2 of this
Resolution; arra
WHEREAS, the necessary public notices have been given in accordance with
the Procedural Ordinance of the City of Cupertino, and the Planning
Commission has held one or more Public Hearings on the subject
application; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the subject zoning or prezone
meets the following requirements:
1) Encourages the most appropriate use of land
2) Conserves and stabilizes the value of property.
3) Provides for adequate access to light and air.
4) Permits adequate control of fines.
5) Protects public health, safety and welfare.
6) Promotes the orderly development of the City.
7) Benefits the property and improvements in the zoning district and
neighborhood in which the property is located.
8) Conforms with the total dwelling unit yield allowed under
application of the semi -rural five acre slope density formula.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
That after careful consideration of maps, facts, exhibits, testimony and
other evidence submitted in this matter, the application for zoning or
prezone is hereby recommended for approval, and
BE IT FURIiE2 RESOLVED:
That the subconclusions upon which the findings and conditions specified
in this Resolution are based upon are contained in the Public Hearing
record concerning Application 10-Z-88 as set forth in the Minutes of the
Planning Commission meeting of February 27, 1989, and are incorporated by
reference as though fully set forth herein.
