REOC'T•IIMMING APPROVAL OF AN APPLICATION TO REZONE 3.34 ACRES
FROM P (PLANNED DEVELOR a: MULTIPLE FAMILY) TO P (PLANNED
DEVEIDPMEDlr) SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL 10-20 EWELLING UNIT PER ACRE
SECTION 1: FINDINGS
WHEREAS, the Planning Oammission of the City of O pertino has received an
application for a change of zone or prezoning, as described on Page 2 of
this Resolution; and
WHEREAS, the necessary public notices have been given in accordance with
the Procedural Ordinance of the City of Cupertino, and the Planning
Conmission has held one or more Public Hearings on the subject
application; and
WHEREAS, the Planning coamission finds that the subject change of zone or
prezone meets the following requirements:
1) axxx rages the most appropriate use of lanai.
2) Conserves and stabilizes the value of property.
3) Provides for adequate access to light and air.
4) Permits adequate Control of fires.
5) Protects public health, safety and welfare.
6) Promotes the orderly development of the City.
7) Benefits the property and improvements in the zoning district and
neighborhood in which the property is located.
That after careful consideration of maps, facts, eudiibits, testimony and
other evidence suhnitted in this matter, the application for change of
zona or prezone is hereby recommended for approval; and
BE IT FUFMi M RESOLVED:
That the suboonclusions upon which the findings and conditions specified
in this Resolution are based upon are contained in the Public Hearing
record concerning Application 8-Z-88 as set forth in the Minutes of the
Planning Ccmnission meeting of February 13, 1989, and are incorporated by
reference as though fully set forth herein.
