Reso 40482-Z-88 CITY OF CUPERTINO 10300 Torre Avenue Cupertino, California 95014 RESOLUTION No. 4048 OF THE PLANNING CMUSSION OF THE CITY OF CUPERPINO RECCKMMING APPROVAL OF A CHANGE OF ZONE FRCH R1-10 (SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL, 10,000 SQ. FT. MIWIMM IIID SIZE) TO R1-7.5 (MIGIE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL, 7,500 SO. FT. MnTZI M LOT SIZE) AS INDICATED ON EXHIBIT A OF APPLICATION 2-Z-88 SECTION 1' FINDINGS WHEREAS, the Planning Oomnission of the City of Cupertino has reoeived an application for a change of zone or prezonirg, as described on Page 2 of this Resolution; and WHEREAS, the necessary public notices have been given in accordance with the Prrocedural ordinance of the City of Cupertino, and the Planning Commission has held ane or more Public Hearings on the subject application; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the subject charge of zone or prezone meets the following requirements: 1) Encourages the most appropriate use of land. 2) Conserves and stabilizes the value of property. 3) Provides for adequate access to light and air. 4) Permits adequate control of fires. 5) Protects public health, safety arra welfare. 6) Pramtes the orderly development of the City. 7) Benefits the property and improvements in the zoning district and neighborhood in which the property is located. NOW, THMEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That after careful consideration of maps, facts, exhibits, testimony and other evidence submitted in this matter, the application for charge of zone or prezone is hereby recasmended for approval, and HE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the subconclusions upon which the findings and conditions specified in this Resolution are based upon are contained in the Public Hearing record concerning Application 2-Z-88 as set forth in the Minutes of the Planning Commission meeting of April 11, 1988, and are incorporated by reference as though fully set forth herein.
