OF THE PIANNING OCN IISSION OF THE CITY OF CUPER M10
RE00 MENDING APPROVAL TO REZCNE 1.9 GROSS ACRES
FROM 81-7.5 AND Rl-10 TO PD (PLANNED DEVEWRMM
WITH RESID0?rIAL INTEND) ZONE
WHEREAS, the Planning Camaission of the City of Cupertino has received an
application for a change of zone or prezoning, as described an Page 2 of
this Resolution; and
WHEREAS, the necessary public notices have been given in acoordance with
the Procedural Ordinance of the City of Cupertino, and the Planning
Ccnmaission has held one or more Public Hearings on the subject
application; and
WFEMAS, the Planning Commission finds that the subject change of zone or
prezone meets the following requirements:
1) Encourages the most appropriate use of land
2) Conserves and stabilizes the value of property.
3) Provides for adequate access to light and air.
4) Permits adequate control of fires.
5) Protects public health, safety and welfare.
6) Promotes the orderly development of the City.
7) Benefits the property and inprovements in the zoning district and
neighborhood in which the property is located.
NOW, UUMEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
That after careful consideration of maps, facts, exhibits, testimony and
other evidence submitted in this matter, the application for change of
zone or prezone is hereby re=mnended for approval; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED:
That the subcc=lusicns upon which the findings arra omsditiors specified
in this Resolution are based upon are contained in the Public Hearing
record concerning Application 5-Z-87 :as set forth in the Minutes of the
Planning Ccani.ssion meeting of July 13, 1987, and are incorporated by
reference as though fully set forth herein.
