RESOLUTION NO. 4009
MINUTE ORDER)
OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO
TRANSMITTING FURTHER COMMENTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
TO THE CITY COUNCIL REGARDING THE
RECOMMENDATION FOR DENIAL OF
APPLICATION 22-TM-87
The Planning Commission recommended denial of the subject tentative map in
response to a finding that the proposed development has great potential to
cause irrepairable damage to specimen Oak trees which have a positive
influence on the site and neighborhood.
The Planning Commission recommends that the City Council consider a
reduction of two lots to provide more space around the subject Oak trees
and or investigate the possibility of acquiring open land around said
trees. The acquisition of land around the trees could also provide a
pedestrian linkage between Wilkinson Avenue and Maria Rosa Way and the
south west corner of Kennedy School.
