RESOLUTION NO. 4008
OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO
RECOMMENDING DENIAL OF A TENTATIVE MAP
TO SUBDIVIDE 1 PARCEL INTO 16 TUTS.
SECTION I: FINDINGS
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Cupertino received an
application for a Tentative Subdivision Map, as described on Page 2 of
this Resolution; and
WHEREAS, the necessary public notices have been given as required by the
subdivision and Procedural Ordinances of the City of Cupertino, and the
Planning Commission has held at least one Public Hearing in regard to the
application; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission marks the following findings:
a. That the site is not physically suitable for the intensity of
development contemplated under the approved subdivision.
411 b. That the design of the subdivision or the proposed improvements is
likely to cause substantial environmental damage to large specimen
trees that provide a positive environmental setting for an entire
neighborhood;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
That upon careful consideration of maps, exhibits, facts, testimony and
other evidence submitted in this matter, the application for Tentative
Subdivision Map is hereby recommended for denial.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 9th day of November, 1987 at a Regular Meeting of
the Planning Commission of the City of Cupertino, State of California, by
the following roll call vote:
