RESOLUTION NO. 1830 (Minute Order)
OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO
REQUESTING THE ARCHITECTURAL AND SITE APPROVAL
COMMITTEE TO PURSUE DESIGN EXCELLENCE RELATIVE TO
THE SOUND BARRIER FOR THE PENINSULA CAPITAL
DEVELOPMENT LOCATED ON STEVENS CREEK BOULEVARD
' OPPOSITE THE DE ANZA OAKS RESIDENTIAL COMMUNITY.
The Planning Commission recognizes the functional need for a barrier to
attenuate sound emanating from truck traffic utilizing Stevens Creek
Boulevard. However, it is requested that the ASAC Committee require
the applicant to combine setback variation, landscaping materials, and
building materials in a manner which softens the sterile appearance
which characterizes typical sound wall installations.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of April , 1978, at a special meeting of the
