Reso 1892 23-TM-78 RESOLUTION NO. 1892 OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY.OF CUPERTINO-. • RECOMMENDING APPROVAL' OF A TENTATIVE.•MAP TO SUBDIVIDE APPROXIMATELY 15.4 ACRES INTO 27 SINGLE-FAMILY LOTS VARYING IN SIZE FROM 7,500 SQ. FT. TO 26,000 SQ. FT. AND TWO LOTS CONSISTING OF A TOTAL OF APPROXIMATELY 6.4 NET ACRES . APPLICANT: B.A.S. Homes, Inc. ADDRESS : 20823 Stevens Creek Boulevard, Suite C-2, Cupertino, California 95014 SUBMITTED: September 7, 1978 LOCATION: Westerly side of Foothill Boulevard approximately 150 ft. southerly of Poppy Drive immediately opposite of the intersection with Salem Drive. Approval is recommended subject to the findings as set forth on Page 1 and subconclusions as set forth in the minutes of the Planning Commission meeting of October 9 , 1978. CONDITIONS : • 1-14. Standard Conditions to the extent that they do not conflict with the special conditions enumerated herein. In' the event a conflict does exist, the special conditions enumerated herein shall apply. 15. That the approval is based upon Exhibit A of Application 23-TM-78 as may be amended by additional conditions contained herein. 16. The proposed street system as shown on Site Plan Exhibit A is not approved. The major entrance street shall be a minimum of 40 ft. from face-of-curb to face-of-curb with a 60 ft. right of way, from the intersection with Foothill Boulevard to the southerly property line of Parcel No. 4, and thereafter shall have a minimum pavement section of 34 ft. from face-of-curb to face-of-curb with a 54 ft. right of way. The street design shall be modified to connect with and provide through access to English Oak Way. The Director of Public Works may deviate from the above standard in specified locations to retain trees or minimize grading. To conform with the require- ments of the R1-7.5, R1-10 and R1-20 zoning districts, the applicants shall have the ability to slightly adjust lot lines to accommodate these rr.inimums.. 17. The Planning staff shall review individual building plans and final grading plans for the proposed lots. The Planning staff is directed to ensure that final grading and building plans provide a minimum disruption of trees located within the proposed building envelope. 18. Houses constructed on Lots 8 and 9 shall be limited to single story. There shall be no windows on the south side of the second story unit on Lot One. 110 -2- f •C I T Y OF CUPERTINO - City Hall, 10300 Torre Avenue Cupertino, California 95014 Telephone: (408) 252-4505 RESOLUTION OF THE -PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO RECOMMENDING THE APPROVAL OF A TENTATIVE MAP WHEREAS, the attached application has been submitted to the City of Cupertino requesting approval of a tentative map; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held at least one public hearing in regard to the application; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has duly c nsidered and heard all evidence submitted in regard to said application; and WHEREAS, the necessary public notices have been given as required by the subdivision and procedural ordinances of the City of Cupertino. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: 1.
