MINUTES FROM PREVIOUS MEETING
1. March 28th,2018—Commissioner Sahni motions to approve minutes.Commissioner
Krishnan seconds motion.Motion passes unanimously.

OLD BUSINESS
2. <hack>Cupertino 2018 Event Check-in
Staff Liaison Mestizo presented the Commission with a list of final updates, tasks to be
completed, and expectations during the event. Commissioners would do one final
marketing push.
3. Teen Stress Media Contest—Check-in
Submission form was reviewed. Staff informed the Commission that the contest was
posted on the City website. The team assigned to marketing was going to continue
advertising the contest.
NEW BUSINESS
4. Regnart Creek Trail
Bicycle and Pedestrian Commissioner Jennifer Shearin visited the Teen Commission to
introduce the proposed bike infrastructure improvement that would go from the
Cupertino Civic Center to Cupertino High School/Creekside area.Commissioner Shearin
presented the benefits of the trail as well as some concerns from local stakeholders. Teen
Commission involvement was discussed, such as supporting the project and attending
future City Council meetings. Commissioner Lau motions to endorse the City of
Cupertino's plan to build the Regnart Creek Trail from Cupertino City Center to
Creekside Park. Vice Chair Sahni seconds motion.

Motion passes.
5. March 28th Meeting Debrief
Commission informed Staff Liaison Mestizo of the discussions missed during the March
281h Teen Commission meeting.

a) Staff Liaison Report
Daniel Mestizo presented the Teen Commission with the following information:
o Teen Commission Recruitment: Teen Commission applications are now open.
The City will be recruiting for 3 Cupertino youths to serve during the 2018-2020
term. Applications are due on May 4th,2018.
o City of Cupertino Branding:The City of Cupertino now has a set of guidelines to
follow for marketing and official communication.

At 8:21 pm the Teen Commission adjourned to a REGULAR MEETING which will be held on
Wednesday,April 25,2018 at 6:00pm in the Conference Room of the Quinlan Community Center,
10185 North Stelling Road, Cupertino.
