CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. in Conference Room A, Cupertino City Hall, 10300
Torre Avenue, Cupertino.
ROLL CALL
Present: Chairperson Nancy Canter and Commissioners, Hema Kundargi, Shirley Lin-Kinoshita
Janet Mohr, and Carl Orr. Staff present: City Clerk Kimberly Smith.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
I. Minutes of the regular meeting of October 26, 2004.
The commissioners voted unanimously to approve the minutes as presented.

COMMISSIONER REPORTS
2. Report regarding the November meeting with Mayor James.
The commission received the report. The new Mayor, Patrick Kwok, will be setting up a
different meeting schedule beginning in February, 2005.
3. Arts-related news updates from Commissioners
UNFINISHED BUSINESS
4. Status on plans for a public hearing at the Quinlan Community Center regarding a location
for the donated statue of Cyrus the Great.
The City Clerk reported that a letter of agreement had been sent to the donors which
specified the requirements associated with engineering, installation, etc.
NEW BUSINESS
5. Consider creating a subcommittee to identity potential art locations in the Cupertino
Library and present those suggestions to Cupertino Librarian.
Commissioners Janet Mohr and Hema Kundargi were selected. They will visit the library
and report back to the full commission before arranging a meeting with the Librarian.

STAFF REPORTS
6. Reminder that December 28 meeting will be cancelled.
7. Reminder that the next regular meeting will be January 25,2005, and held in conjunction
with the Planning Commission to discuss the General Plan, including the Percent for Art
component.
8. Reminder that this is the final meeting for Commissioner Carl Orr. Interested applicants
may apply until December 28, and interviews will be held January 10 or II.
The commissioners brought in refreshments to share and offered their thanks and farewells
to Commissioner Orr for his years of service on this commission.
