1, Decision on 2 applications involving 4 Blabon-Walsh
parcels. Moved by Commissioner C31i tb3t the C-1-H
ap':)lication for a parcel frontinG on Stevens Creek
Road be granted, subject to any area rlannlng in con-
nection with an industrial parl,; Commissioner .'a.izis
seconded, ami the motion carried 4 ,- 0,
Moved by Commissioner Bell that the application on
the second parcel be grented, subject to 3.ny industrial
parle plans developed for the l'1-l-H zoning of -::he 50
acres, This second parcel is presently zoned &-1:3-2,
Seconded by Commissioner Cali and carried 4 - 0,
The third parcel involved an M-l-H application, This
parcel would extend back to the proposed batch plant
site, a depth of about )00 feet, ¡ioved by Commissioner
Cali that N-l-H zoning be granted, again subject to
overell plans for the proposed 50 acre industrial park.
Commissioner Bell seconded, and the mo~lon carried,
4 - O.
Before reaching a decision on the fourth parcel,
Chairman Leonard noted that the heorin~s had been con-
ducted on a hiCh plane, ¡·10ved by Commiss~oner iaizis
to deny M-?-H zoning on the batch Dlant without Drejudice;
seconded bò' CO!llmissioner Cali, 3.nd carried, 4 .. 0,
Commissioner ?aizis added that grantiTIg this application
would '3.m01.mt. to spot zoninz, a thing the Commission
wishes to avoid. Commissioner C"li moved that the
Planning COffi'Ilission recom~end to the Council that
consideration be :!Iven to annexinc: e.n area thgt can
handle 11-?-H, Commissioner .2aizis sec:'YJ.dej, and the
notion carried, 4 - O.

1, Chairman Leonard noted the need for further informstion
on the Freeway Froject. The Council is awaiting con-
flrr:Jation of a date with I'll', Sinclair of the Givision
of Hi~;hways.
2. A letter from Mr, Cone, Planning Director of Sunnyvale,
was announced inviting Cupertino representation at the
Tri-County Council l'1eetlngs on population trenó.s. The
meeting is scheduled for Friday, March 2, in San Francisco.

meet on the first and third Fridays of every month,
beginnin~ in March; seconded by Commissioner Paizis
