The main reason for thls study session was to go over the 1985 General
Plan for Cupertino, Cali:r:£:::".':~.!::l, prepared by Wilsey, Ham & Blair.
Chairman Frol1ch noted ttlClt on PaiSe 2, No.2 A of the Resolution, the
instructions to the Consultants was not to just change the word from
"gross" to "net" densities on the Legend, but it was also to change
the figures accordingly.
Comm. Rampy stated the date on the Resolution should be Jan. 27, 1964.
Comm. Fitzgerald, reffering to Item 13 on Page 14, said he agrees
with this but it is not what ¡'lr. Gatter sald at his last public meet-
ing. This is reflected in the minutes of December 23, Page 2.
Comm. Fitzgerald also took exception to Item 16, Page 14. This
should read, "Ne5ghborllOOd parle acreaLe and recrea'cion :facilities
should be increancd to proper standards." A plan to double the
present school playground acreage wouJd not be realistic since you
would have; to tal(8 into account the K-6 8chools, junior high schools,
and senior high 8chools.
Comm. Adamo remarked that in the Del l¡Jebb development at Almaden, all
utilities are underground" Comm, Pltzgeratd felt the City might re-
quire underground utilities on 0.11 multipJe developments but it may
be a hardship on n,..l.
Plans are in the mal¡ing for wideninß Stevens Creek Blvd to 120 I, in-
cluding a center planting strip. Ch,Úrmnn 17rolich added that P.G.&E.
has said they would move the power lines to the back along Stevens
Creek Blvd. once the lot lines have been established.
There are 3 changes to be made on i'g. 8, "Proposed Neighborhood
Densities" chart:
Line 8: Net Acres ili Dens. column should read "50" and Net Acres
Ned. & Low Dens. COhlml1 uhould read "125".
Line 12: If this includes the Gagliaso property it is fine the way
it i8; if not, the 55 acres under Het Acres Hi Dens. column
should be moved to Net Acres Med. & Low Dens. column.
Line 13: Under Net Acres Hi Dens. column, cut from "60" to "25".
Under Net Acres Mad. & Low Dens. column raise from "10"
to "45".
Item 9 on Page 10 should be changed from gross to net acreage.
